Powered Sugar and Rosemary top this beautiful creation and it tastes better than it looks!


Look how light and airy this slice turned out. It melts in your mouth!


Sifting the flower and baking soda is a step you don't want to skip. It makes a BIG difference in the end product.


In a separate bowl ad 7 tbs melted butter/salted. Add lemon zest and olive oil to butter and whisk together by hand.


You can not blend this batter enough. I've found the longer you blend the better the results. Each time I added the flour mix and the oil/butter mix, I blended for at least 5 minutes. Once all the ingredients were added I continued blending for another 10 minutes or so.


Pay attention to the color of the batter. It should change from bright yellow to pale yellow before you add it to the baking pan.


The batter tastes like heaven! Don't miss out on taking a few licks from the blender.
